I can't believe that a whole year has already flown by, it seemed like just yesterday that I was shooting my very first wedding. This year has been such an amazing one full of both ups and downs. I have learned my weaknesses and strengths. I have become to grow more confident in my work and the skills that I possess. I have made some AHHMAZING friends through my job which I am so thankful for. Most of all I have learned that this is something much more than I could have ever imagined for myself. If you have had the chance to work with me then you probably know my story..I thought I would "play" around with this idea a little over a year ago..I had a few people that were interested and then it turned into something I could actually see myself doing longterm. Somewhere along the way something else happened..a NEED to do this, a WANT to do this, and the simple feeling of being INCOMPLETE without photography. My children and husband have been so patient with me and willing to let go of some of our family time so that I can pursue my passion. My husband has also been my number one supporter, helping me along the way when I second guess myself, reminding me to keep pushing forward in the slow months, and pushing me to see how beautiful my work is..I could not have gotten this far without him! Here I sit now with only one more day to 2011 and all I can think is WOW..if this year has been this good what is 2012 going to bring? I have given alot of thought..and I mean ALOT to what I hope to see for 2012 for MMP and what my goals are. I am committing myself to always being bold enough to express my creativity through my work, and making sure that I keep my clients thoughts, wants, and needs for each session a top priority when planning their session with them. I have several new ideas for different session concepts that I can't wait to begin sharing but I also have something more to share... I have realized that I LOVE to work with newborns (and I think that may be an understatement!!). I am putting alot of my money, time, and effort into refining my skills and gaining more knowledge in newborn portraiture. I am learning sleep patterns, props that are best for them, how to soothe them to sleep, different ways to position them, and how to create a calm atmosphere for them to totally relax in! I feel a strong desire to work with newborns and honestly if I could, I would do a newborn shoot everyday..yes I love it that much! I am going to continue to grow my skills and knowledge in this area and I am very excited to announce that I will now be offering Newborn sessions all by themselves..I know that there is a high interest in the Watch me Grow packages and I will be keeping these but the package will be changing some. I will still be working and offering all other types of sessions I just feel that Newborns need a catergory all their own :) Lastly I want to say THANK YOU to all of my clients, supporters, and the awesome vendors I have the opportunity to work with. The kind words you have offered, sweet gifts you have given, patience you have had, and the many people you have shared my name with means more than you can ever know. So with this last statement..good by 2011..hello year of growth, opportunities, new clients and friendships, and a year filled with no regrets..only AWESOMENESS!!
Love,
Jessica

Meet Baby G!!!
Meet my newest addition to the {Watch Me Grow} Packages! This little guy had the funniest expressions..kinda like he was trying to figure out exactly who I was! I loved taking the time to capture the finer details such as his sweet little toes. Maybe he knew what I was doing because he just happened to peep his tootsies out from a basket during one shot!

Baby D is 6mo!
Baby D is part of the {Watch me Grow} Family and I always look forward to working with him! He is very laid back and always wants to share a smile. He is also completely content in whatever way we decide to pose him and was even pretty cozy with the birthday suit elf picture! I hope yall enjoy the sneak peaks and I look forward to seeing this sweet little guy in just a couple months!!
Stallings Family
This family could easily be any photographers dream..the kids were well mannered, the parents were involved..and everyone was in a great mood! No doubt this was a favorite family of mine to work with. Sheila found me through a former client from this summer and I knew from the first time I talked to her on the phone that she was a client I truly clicked with when she said she was a planner haha! I really hope you guys enjoy the sneak peaks..and yes..there are several but that is because I couldn't just choose a few favorites!

Stephanie and Don
I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and Don over the weekend and loved that they brought their little dog Charlie along for the session! After seeing how much they love and adore him I am most certain that this sweet little baby growing inside is sure to be a lucky one! I enjoyed getting to capture these special moments for them and can't wait to find out what Momma is having!
Haha poor Charlie had to look away..too much sweetness for him!
I love shots like these...it is a memory of a very special time for another Mother and it always shows Mom just how beautiful and glowing she is with that amazing gift growing inside of her :)

Sydney and Journey
This has been one of my favorite clients to work with and one that has been with me since I first started out! I went to college for some time with Momma and it is always nice to have that personal relationship already established prior to a session..being comfortable with who you are working with is key for natural photos! Journey is such a little ham, no lie this kid looks cute no matter what he is doing! I hope yall enjoy your sneak peaks!!
That candy cane looks mighty yummy!!
Look at that beautiful little face!
This one just really got my heart..they were completely caught off guard and were just truly interacting with one another..I am so thankful I am there to capture sweet moments like this!
Kristain G
This was a really nice family to work with..very laid back and their Mom just happened to be Robby's bus driver when he was growing up, small world!! Baby P sure is a doll but she was determined not to share smiles unless she wanted..luckily I was able to catch this one with her grinning at Uncle Josh! Hope yall enjoy your sneak peaks :)
Tolani Family
I had the opportunity to catch up with an old high school friend and her boys for a Mini over the weekend and I'm not gonna lie..I totally fell in love with her little one..everytime I would talk to him he would shoot me the cutest little grin and had to be one of the happiest babies I have ever worked with!! I hope you enjoy your sneak peaks :)
Such handsome little fellas!!
This is one very sweet little gentleman!
Boy oh boy do I love this and I was so happy to be able to capture this moment and freeze it in time for Momma..moments like this need to be framed and hung so we can remember them forever for they get us through the bad moments in life :)
Tracy and Clark
I loved working with these two! They were a burst of energy and full of laughs the entire session and I can honestly say this was a session I truly wasn't ready to have end! Of course they get to walk away with a memory of my hot dog with my husband ( and for those that haven't heard the story my hubs was sweet enough to track down one for me bc I felt like my sugar was getting a little off and then he was also nice enough to store it in his pocket :O..good times!!)..I sure hope yall enjoy your sneak peaks and congrats again on your engagement!!
This picture portrays them perfect..full of smiles and laughs!!
Seriously beautiful!!
Ahhh I love this one!!
