Springing forward to a positive future!!

I have been working super hard this week to get everything ready to share and I am sooo excited to finally share the new updated blog design, a new website, updated pricing, and a couple special offers to top it off!! First I would like to take a moment to say a couple thank you's..Thank you to my amazing husband who has taught me the basics and pushed me even when I wasn't sure if this venture would go anywhere, thank you to my wonderful children for being so patient with me and understanding while I have had a hectic week getting everything ready, thank you to everyone that has choosen to go with me to capture their moments and a HUGE thank you to a couple specific clients and friends: Thank you Jami Nalley for being there to listen to new ideas, give a confidence boost, and for sharing my name with your friends; Thank you to Jennifer Beanblossom for being one of my very first supporters and reminding me how much you enjoy my work and promoting me on your page as well, and thank you to Brandi and Tabitha..when I first set my goals for this year it was with hopes of landing 1-2 weddings and here I sit at the beginning of Spring meeting those goals with the both of you putting full confidence and trust for me to provide amazing coverage during such a special time in your life. I cannot stress enough how appriciative I am of the kind comments that clients have left and the friendships I have been able to develop through photography..this has grew into something I never could have imagined in my wildest dreams and I am so blessed that God has led my life down this exciting path.
So I know that some may wonder why the change with pricing..well there are a couple of reasons one being that sales tax and insurance costs are now included, secondly I felt that I was not offering a price that was comprable to my work and I have set pricing that I feel reflects my work as well as still stays true to my philosophy of offering budget friendly photography.
With the new pricing I have a couple of exciting offers and here they are:
*I have at least 1 session for every month except July all the way to September..the first person to book a full session for the month of July will receive a Package A Print Package for FREE with their session (In case you are unsure of what is included here you go..2 5x7, 1 8x10, 4 4x6, and 20 wallets..definitely enough to share with family!)
*I am looking for potential rising Seniors to get my name into the schools and share my work with their friends..if you are interested please email me and I will get needed information..selected Seniors will receive 50% off the session fee as well as 2 8x10's of their choice and 20 wallets of their choice (wallets are great for sharing with friends!!)

Chelsea is growing up!!

I had a blast working with my cousin on her Senior Session..she was my first Senior to work with this year and it really helped to have someone I could be comfortable with. It amazes me to think back to her being a toddler and look at how grown up and beautiful she has become. She has a good head on her shoulders with plans to pursue a college degree in Nursing! I wish her all the best luck and I am proud of the young lady she is turning in to!

Heatin things up with Ms. Kellee!!

I bet yall thought I had forgotten about the blog...nope! Just have alot of changes as one time and I have been a bit pre-occupied!! Without further waiting here is my review on my Boudoir Session with Kellee! She is an absolute sweetheart and super fun to work with..I don't think she had a bad picture throughout the whole session ;) She told me she had been working out prior to her session and boy did it show!!I really liked that she had her own ideas to incorporate into the session as well and I look forward to working with her again in the future!

Bright Eyed Beauty

I had a wonderful start to my week..not only was the weather AMAZING buttt I got to spend Monday afternoon with a bouncing and energetic 4 yr old sweetheart named Trinity! Her Mom scored a free session from our March 1st day giveaway and we had a beautiful day to work with! Trinity has these intense eyes that seemed to capture my attention every time she smiled..I loved to capture her being a child and seeing the innocence in her face warmed my heart! She was a doll to work with :)

Sweet Baby Landon

I had the joy of working with Baby Landon last week and am lucky enough to get to capture his first year! He was only 1 month and boy was he tiny..it reminded me how fragile babies are! Landon was not happy unless we swaddled him with a super fluffy blanket but once we got him cozy he posed away..I chose this picture because when I was talking to Jenn, his Mom I referenced him reminding me of Baby Moses in the basket. Children are a delight to the soul and the most precious gift that God gives to parents!

CD with edited images from your session that have unlimited printing rights as well as the following prints 2 5x7's, 1 8x10, and 4 4x6.. the perfect amount for sharing!! I also have tons and tons of other options including print packages, individuals, and neat ideas to really make your photo "pop" when it is hanging on the wall! Spring greeting cards can be done as well!!

Brandi and David Teaser

So I was super excited when Brandi decided to let me put up a teaser from her Engagement Session up a couple weeks back. While I can't share the rest, I can share about the session. Brandi and David have got some of the most laid back personalities. This is my second time working with them and I also have the priviledge of covering her Bridals and their Wedding!! Each time I find myself smiling behind the camera at the sweetest and pureness of their love. I can't wait to share the rest of their amazing session in May!!!

Carson and his Car

Mandy is a good high school friend of my husband and a new friend of my own..when she first arrived for her session she informed me that Carson wasn't going to part with his car and she wasn't kidding! His love for Lightning McQueen is that of a baby and their passy. He would make sure it was secure in his little pocket everywhere he went. Mom also informed me that he didn't like his picture being taken so he really kept me on my toes but of course we were lucky to get some ADORABLE shots with that priceless grin. He is all boy and I look forward to watching him grow!!

Gabby and Josh

On Saturday's line up was a Maternity Shoot with a former college classmate and her hubby. I had no clue they would be some of the best clients to work with! Gabby was absolutely glowing and knew exactly what she wanted before hand which made the session a total breeze. Josh was as equally as fun to work with as he was up to anything! I'm sure most of you have already seen his preggo shot and I am telling you I don't know who was laughing more after that one! It is just absolutely a blessing to walk around and enjoy the entire shoot and capture moments that they will cherish forever! I can't wait to meet baby Joshua later this Spring..he is going to have amazing parents!

Susan and Wes

Sorry it has taken a couple days to get everyone on here!! I had the pleasure of meeting Susan and Wes over the past weekend. A little about the couple..they are very down to earth and super affectionate! Very noteworthy is the many years that Wes served our country both in the Navy and the Army. I was a bit worried that it might be awkward as they had driven quite a ways to come to the session and we had never met before but that quickly faded away. They have the sweetest affection for one another and were a true pleasure to work with! I love that they brought something special to incorporate into their session and I can't wait to work with them again!!
