Sweet Nathan

This week I meet Mr. Nathan..Mom had told me prior to his session that he loved to fish and she wasn't fibbing at all! Nathan is almost 2 and is already about to cast his line and reel it back in!! Once we got to the creek there was no getting him away from the water as he was determined to catch a fish :) He jut melted my heart, when we would walk along and Mom would take him by the hand he insisted on holding my hand as well! This is definitely one little man that I look forward to working with again!!

Cortlin and Brayden

I got to spend some time earlier this week with my adorable little cousin's Cortlin and Brayden!! They are both all boy and were very curious as to where we were going next and loved to run through the grass. I think the moment that caught my heart was when I was getting the boys ready to take a picture with Mom and her boyfriend..initially I was going to have the boys between Mom and her boyfriend and before I could get them in place both boys grabbed Eric's hand..it was a priceless moment! I have chosen to share a picture of Mom with her boys..often time goes by too fast and we don't have time to fully embrace moments like these :)

Hi!!

So I know I have fallen behind on adding to the blog and I apologize! This has been a very very busy 2 weeks especially with the weather having all weekend sessions rearranged. I would like to take a moment and say thank you to all of the clients that chose me to capture their little one's Spring and Easter pictures, I know that there are many options when it comes to choosing a photographer and it means the world to me that you guys chose me!! I also wanted to say thank you to Little Bird Crochet for the adorable headband I used in my little girl session, it worked perfectly in coordination with her outfit!! I look forward to what the rest of Spring holds for me! Don't forget about our Loyalty Rewards program, this is a great way to build towards getting a session for free in the fall, and we will be switching the 1st day giveaway for May to a Mother's Day giveaway..as a Mom myself I know how hectic life can get and when you are a Mom there are certain demands you must met regardless of what else life throws you, I hope to be a blessing to another Mom and provide them pictures that they will remember forever!

Sweet Miss Ella

I worked with Ella in the fall of last year and I was thrilled to work with her again this Spring. I couldn't believe how much she had grown and how much like a babydoll she looked like. Her eyes and skin were so pure they almost didn't look real! My favorite part of her session was seeing her with the purple flower!! She was fascinated by it at first eventually trying to figure out a way to get it to her mouth! I also wanted to say a very big thank you to Little Bird Crochet for the adorable headband that Miss Ella modeled!

Leeland's Spring session

Mom Alicia came to me to capture Leeland's Easter pics, when I first met him I couldn't believe that he was as young as he was (just shy of one!). He behaved so well and was very cooperative. That grin we got would just tickle me to pieces because it was filled with such innocence and happiness that only a child can bring. I look forward to capturing his birthday pictures next month!

Tabitha and Matt

Sunday was full of love and sweetness! I got to spend the afternoon with Matt and Tabitha to capture both their engagements as well as their beautiful horses. Matt was ready to get it done but as the session progressed he started to relax and really opened up. They have got to be the cutest couple and are very photogenic. It is an indescribable feeling when you are on the back side of the camera capturing moments that make you smile just knowing you were priviledged enough to be there! I loved the location that they chose as it completely had their personality to it and allowed us alot of space to capture what we were looking for. I can't wait to work with Tabitha on her bridals and be there with them on their big day! They are an amazing couple destined for a beautiful future together!

April 1st day giveaway winner

Kim C. was our first day giveaway winner this month and she knew exactly what she wanted to use her session for..her daughter Brianna and her dolly Amanda! I loved the idea right of the bat as it was something that focused on what she really liked and gave her special one on one time. Brianna was shy at first but she quickly opened up as the session progressed even ending the session creating her own poses and looks! I hope to work with her again in the future as well as her adorable brother Shane!! Kim you have a beautiful family :)

Baby Nick's first Easter

I was sooo excited when the Nazzaro's asked me to do Nick's Spring pictures, they are such helpful parents and Nicholas has a smile and bright blue eyes that can make even the worst day seem a little better! He is such a happy baby and was willing to let us capture him being the sweet heart he is! My favorite from this session would be Faith and him in front of the beautiful white flowers, I finally saw where those gorgeous eyes were from!

A Birthday Princess

I got to meet Tatum last week and let me tell you, not only is she pint sized but she is the sweetest little girl (giving a photographer a hug during your session always melts my heart!!) I pulled out the wings and she was persistent they weren't going anywhere but on her! My favorite part of the session was hearing her say there were "crocodiles" in the creek..it cracked me up! I look forward to working with her in the future!

Klyer and Brynlee

I was super excited to be working with the adorable brother and sister set of Kyler and Brynlee! I worked with them back in early winter and it amazed me to see how much they had changed. They were determined they were doing the pictures their way but we still managed to capture priceless moments. My favorite part of the session would definitely be seing Brynlee's assertiveness and that she wasn't smiling unless she wanted to!Mom should be proud..your little ones are adorable!!

The Bogue Family

I got to spend some time last week with a very dear friend and her beautiful little family. Gracie is the newest addition to the family and such a cutie! The family coordinated their outfits around her beautiful patchwork dress and I must say that with the purple hues that green grass just popped! Faith is a big sister and loved trying to help entertain Gracie and keep her smiling. I loved watching both girls interact with their parents and seeing the love they all had for each other but most of all my heart swelling seeing a friend so happy!

Bubbly Miss Calli

I got to spend a beautiful sunny afternoon with a sweetie named Calli! She was the winner of a free mini session but due to weather and sickness we were a little off on getting her on the schedule..Mom and I were both pleased with how great the weather was yesterday! It never ceases to amaze me at how active and busy children are. Calli kept me on my toes and was fascinated by my bunny and the water!! She had the most amazing crystal clear blue eyes that my camera was constantly drawn to..and the dress was just precious! She was so much fun to work with and gave me a much needed work out for the day! Hope everyone enjoys the sneak peak of the Easter goodies for the Spring Specials!
