I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on availabilty for the rest of this year..weekend spaces are almost completely full!!! Below you will find both month and date availability:

October 1st- 2-3pm depending on location
October 29th- 2p-5p is AVAILABLE!!!
October 30th- 12:30-1:30p {preset location}
November 12th- FALL MINI'S Date- {11:30-12; 2-2:30; 4-4:30} {30 min Mini session can be for fall or Christmas themed; $45 and includes HIGH RES CD with 15-25 edited images}
November 13th 2-3pm
November 26th 2-3pm
December 10th- Christmas Mini's Date- {1:30-2pm; 3:30-4pm} {30 min Mini session , $45 and includes a HIGH RES CD with 15-25 edited images}

Sweet Baby S {Watch me Grow}

 I had the chance to meet and work with the Surratt family over the weekend and they are the most laid back family! Baby S is my newest addition to the 1st Yr/Watch me Grow Package and he is such a cute little man. His eyes are so well defined in their color they almost don't look real! We learned quickly we would need to move at his pace to get the shots we wanted but after he finally gave in to taking a short nap we were able to roll with the session! I am excited to see how much he has changed at the next session!!

This is a particular style of picture that is taken alot and has even made it to facebook a couple of times. As a Mom myself I know that while we have several intimate and loving moments with our children especially when they are babies, there is rarely a camera around to catch it. I think it is important for a Mom to have pictures like these to look back on when their baby isn't such a baby anymore.

This little girl is such a sweetheart. She has alot of patience to be a child. While Mom was trying to sooth baby S into a slumber, Savannah decided to show me her baby S. Well obviously a hard working beautiful mom as herself should only be entitled to a few shots with her own baby..we went all out and swaddled him and she even ended up kissing him just like Mommy did with her baby brother..it just melted me to a big ol puddle!

We were able to wrap up the session in the front yard. These guys have a beautiful outdoor space and I was naturally eager to capture some of the session outh there. They have everything from old barns and sheds to an over abundance of grassy areas! They are such a sweet family I know that capturing this next year with them will  be such a precious time!

Keenan and Magan are ENGAGED!!!

I was SUPER excited when Tia (which is Keenan's sister) approached me about having an actual engagement during a session! It was so much fun working with Keenan on the perfect location and setting to propose to his sweet bride to be. Keenan and Magan both have such a sweetness about them and an easy going nature. They are a true delight to be around and were so thankful that I was there to capture these moments for them!

I love Magan's sweet little expressions, she cracked me up when she looked at him and said "Is this for real?!"..she literally had no idea this was coming and was immediately overcome with emotions. I think this picture captured both her surprise and excitement all in one!

 I love the simplicity of this photo..it was one that was taken before the question was popped and just has a true southern charm about it..I mean c'mon what girl doesn't wanna slip her hand in to her mans back pocket?!

This picture sums up the bond and cuteness I was telling yall about to a tee..this was right after an outfit change and Magan getting her ring and they were completely lost in each other. This reminds me of what true love should look like..they don't have a care in the world and their future is sure to hold beautiful memories and a love that can withstand anything <3

Well we all know I am a sucker for still images and I was able to pry Magan's ring away for a few moments to capture the beauty of it..Did he do a great job or what?! A caption for this is simple..He loves me, He loves me not..nope..He DEFINITELY loves me!!

Nicolas turns 1!!

This was a bitter sweet session for me as Nicolas was my very first baby in the {Watch me Grow} Package! He is an absolute doll and I could not have gotten a better baby to work with. I have loved getting to know his sweet family, appreciated the patience that they have had with me while I have been learning, and absolutely adored the enthusiasm that his Dad has had during their sessions! I hope I get the opportunity to work with them in the future..the Nazzaro's will always hold a special place in my heart <3

I thought this was the cutest little cake..it was made by Mom's best friend (who is quite the crafter I might add!)..it brought a cool touch of old school with the details and was just as delish. as it was pretty!

Its moments like these I am so THANFUL I have been able to capture for a family..there is nothing more precious than love for without it and God we have nothing..I hope that this is one picture that will last for years to come!

The Hiltons

I was so excited when Jennifer told me earlier this summer that she wanted to book a session with me! Not only is she a good friend but they are also family as well, and honestly I felt pretty special that she would choose me based on a client level and not a family convience!

There was a missing puzzle piece of this session, Josh and his wife Danielle and their precious daughter Alexis were originally planning for this shoot, however Josh has chosen the commendable job of serving our country and was put into a spur of the moment move :*( When we work towards the next session we hope to have everyone here at the same time!!I absolutely LOVED the color scheme that the Hilton family chose, it complimented everyone so well and gave room to have a little variety!I fell in love with this picture of Jenn and Dustin, the way she is grinning makes me want to smile too, being parents of 3 kids and always on the go can sometimes bog us down and let memories like this fade away..I was so happy to capture this on camera and have a moment frozen in time for them!

Are these kids adorable or what? Sweet Casey laid his head down the second his Mama said we could just let them do what they'd like and honestly I couldn't have loved his little picture anymore!!

Natalie really loved the camera and has an excellent skill of listening to directions. With her being family it was really an eye opener as to how much she has grown and what a beautiful and sweet young lady she is becoming..I don't think she could take a bad picture even if she tried!

Colby was the wildman and he was in no mood to stand still for pictures! What I love most about him is there is a little twinkle in his eye that just gleams with curiosity..something like that is just destined full of a life with adventures!

 

I had such a good experience working with family as a client and look forward to capturing their next family gathering!

Updates, Updates, and more Updates!!!

It has been one heck of a summer filled with so many wonderful sessions! I have gotten so far behind on my blog and this is going to be a pretty lengthy blog but with the growing number of clients that do not have a facebook I think it is definitely time for the incorporation of my blog for sneak peaks..this is going to serve as an area to also find commentary on your session as well as additional pictures outside of facebook so be sure to sign up for updates..hint there is a space just to your right where you can sign up by email..yep it is that simple!! Ok on to the important stuff..specials!!!

The first I would like to touch on is the Wedding Package Promotion! For 2012 weddings that are booked now through December you will receive your choice of 50% off of Bridals OR a $50 credit towards your package. All Wedding Package Pricing will be increasing effective Jan 1st, 2012 so this is a great way to lock in at the rate you want..and of course get the photographer you'd like to have as well! Up next is the Fall and Christmas Specials!! These are great for getting those Christmas card pictures in ahead of time..on November 12th there will be a themed setup which includes a Fall Fun theme and Country Christmas..colors include deep orange, browns, and beautiful fall reds for the Fall Sessions and deep red, evergreen Greens, creams, and a touch of brown here and there for the Country Christmas sessions! I will have limited props available for the October and December date. As a bonus should you decide to book both your Fall and Christmas mini's on the date of November 12th you will receive $10 off each session!!! For all minis they are 30min and are $40 each. Availability updates:

For the remainder of the year I only have 1 Saturday left open for each month and 1-2 Sundays with very limited availability for each month, if you are looking for a weekend session please contact me early to get your desired date and time in! I do still have weekday spaces but with me being a stay at home Mom and a full time student these are becoming limited as well. With the increasing session amount please bear in mind that this may add a few days to the turn around. Current turn around is 2 weeks or less to have your CD ready for pickup which I think is pretty awesome!!

Whew! I told ya there was alot of information!! Thank you so much to the many clients I have had to share my name, give me confidence in my skils, offer advice, lend a listening ear, come back time and time again, and for making this a very successful first summer! I look forward to the coming months and all of the sessions that they bring!!
