Anna and James!!

Anna and James have such vibrant personalities and seem to mesh with one another so well! We had such a good time strolling through town and capturing different areas that suited their personalities. I really liked that they weren't afraid to jump in with their own ideas! The shot below was Anna's idea and honestly something that I hadn't thought of before and I love the way it turned out!!

So I have chosen this as a sneak peak for James because it completely shows his personality! He is very quiet but also had several ideas for unique to him shots and kept me laughing for most of the session! I hadn't tried this with a grown up before but it shows that yes there are even big kids our there too!

I just thought this was hilarious! This was a moment in the session where I asked what they wanted to do and Anna suggested funny faces..little did I know they were going to make them at each other! The expression on his face is priceless!

This is my last one but I most say that Anna totally rocked it out! I love the confidence she displays and think she looks amazing in this photo! I hope yall have enjoyed the sneak peaks, thanks for being such a fun couple to work with!!

Sweet Holly

Holly is such a sweet person to work with, she has a laid back personality and was up for anything I suggested. I love that she has a shy personality, it gives a little mystery to some of her pictures. I would have to say that the first picture posted on facebook was my absolute favorite. She was totally caught in the moment. The above is also a favorite, I was so excited to have caught that small glimpse of mirror image!!

This is totally the kind of frame worthy picture!! I love that it is almost as if we were just hanging out and I happened to get a cool shot in the process!

Ok sooo you KNOW she is rockin this shot completely!! Not only does it have a little 'tude to it but she has that confidence in the way she is standing that gives a commanding look at me vibe! I had such a good time working with Holly and I have had an even better time making a new friend in the process!

Derek's Senior Session

Derek was my very first male senior session and honestly, I wasn't quite sure what to expect! With girls it is easy because ladies just have that natural beauty but I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I worked with Derek. Not only does he have a great sense of humor but he has the southern hospitality that brings out the true gentleman in him. Derek has a love for horses and was eager to use the saddle that he has worked hard to pay for on his own in the session. He has great taste because it looked absolutely beautiful on the horse.

I loved the location that was chosen and feel that it really helped to relax him and let his shy personality show through. I don't think there was a bad picture from the session and there was an abundance of places for us to shoot! My favorite part would definitely be seeing the life size stuffed bear! That is definitely something you don't see everyday! I wish you the best of luck with your Senior year Derek and I think that with your aspirations for college that are already laid your future looks quite promising!

Sweet and Southern Kristin and Casey

Kristin and Casey are just about the cutest couple I have seen. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful Kristin is, I love that they are southern and proud of it, but they had a cool laid back have a good time vibe to their whole session. The location was AWESOME! We had over grown extremely old houses and even a barn area to work with. Of course my favorite part was the open horse pasture!

This was taken at the end of the session and I love it because it reminds me of a lazy afternoon. Ya know the kind where you just lay around and do nothing other than spend time together. When they were laying in the grass they were completely lost in each other and didn't have a care in the world!

This too is a favorite! I feel like this is a picture perfect image and it completely fits who they are! I hope to work with both of them in the future as they are delightful to the soul to spend time capturing!

McCormick Family

The McCormick Family found me through Paisley Patches who also made the cute matching shirts with everyone's names on them! Christy is super friendly and was easy to carry on a conversation with. This is a beautiful family that loves to kick back and have a good time and it showed!!

I love this picture of Olivia and her Bubba Shayne! We were trying to get everyone in place for a family shot and she came up and gave him the biggest squeeze! Judging by their interaction it looks like these two are really close with each other, don't you just love seeing that tiny little smile peaking out behind him?!

Olivia was a Daddy's Girl for this session, Mom reassured me this was not the case all the time ;) She just bubbled over with smiles and laughter when Dad was throwing her up in the air and has the beautifulest blue eyes I have seen. They just light up and really pop in the sunlight!

While we couldn't get Olivia in the last picture I loved this one with just Mom and the boys..as a Mom to a son myself I know it can be hard to get the boys in the pictures the older they get. These two really had a genuine affection for their Mom!
