Baby C is 4mo!

Seriously get ready for some cuteness ahead! I could not have asked for a more sweet little guy than this one! Everytime his Mom spoke he instantly looked over and flashed a big beautiful grin! He is the perfect little model for all of my Christmas goodies too! Hope yall enjoy!!
Yes he was actually THAT still during his shoot..love it!

Santa's newest little buddy!

Little feet are always so cute and they remind us just how precious and tiny these little lives we call children are :)

You lookin' at me? Gah look at those eyes..he looks like a doll!

I always find myself getting drawn in to moments like this..you know the ones that are brief yet feel like forever when you are caught up in them. I think one of the most purest expressions of the true and simple meaning of love is the embrace she wraps her child in! I can't wait to work with this little guy again in just a couple months!

Baby J is 8mo!

This little guy is no new face and I can't believe how big he has gotten! I loved that I got a few minutes of snug time in! I would definitely say he is definitely all boy..only giving smiles when he wanted and flashing an innocent little grin here and there! I am excited to begin planning for his 1yr session and can't wait to see how much he has grown by then! I hope yall enjoy the sneak peaks!!

I just love lil piggies!!
He has that "tada" look in this one!

Simpson Family

I had the chance to work with the Simpson family last week and felt kinda special considering they drove from Matthews just to have me capture their family photos! This little guy definitely kept me working and love to express his independence during the session but he managed to squeeze a few priceless moments and luckily I was there to catch them! I hope yall enjoy the sneak peaks!!

Hearn Family

I was happy to hear from Mom when she contacted me about booking a Christmas session! I was able to work with them earlier this year in the Spring and love to work with these kids! Miss M always looks like a doll, and Mr H was blossoming with smiles this time. He even remembered the different places we shot at last time which surprised me :)

The thumbs up was definitely a surprise but this was too cute not to share!

Look at those eyes..he is so handsome for such a little guy. Mom is definitely going to have her hands full when he gets older!

This picture is sweet to me in so many ways..it is almost reminincent of early years in history, there is a sibling moment of sweetness which we know can be rare at times, and it is a sign of how much these children are growing up. I feel like a b&w shared all of these and froze the moment perfectly in time! I hope yall have enjoyed the sneak peaks :)

Danner Family

I had the priviledge of working with this beautiful family over the weekend. We were blessed with a beautiful location and wonderful weather and of course beautiful sweet smiling little ones! Elizabeth definitely kept me on my toes as she was very quiet and soft spoken! Will was such a sweet little guy and did such a great job lasting through the whole session! Josie was a sweet big sister and was a HUGE help with her little brother!!

I just cannot get over how happy this little guy was throughout the session!! He melted my heart when I first met him, he came straight to me and anyone who has already worked with me knows that I love my little ones and this guy was no exception!! This was one of my favorites, he loved seeing his sister play with the leaves and was giggles and grins when he got his chance to play in them!

Josie has got some of the prettiest little blue eyes a girl can have. She reminds me of a little princess, a little shy and reserved, very proper, and listened to her parents well. I loved that we were able to shoot down in the leaves for a few minutes and give her some individual time!

One of my favorite parts of the entire session was to capture a picture on a bench of both the family together and Mom and Dad alone..I found out that this is where he proposed to her (so sweet right?!) and although it is a fav I thought I would make them wait it out for that one ;) I hope yall have enjoyed the sneak peaks!!

Christina and Matt

Christina was my most recent winner of the Free 1hr Session giveaway which was over the end of the summer! I met her through my first wedding I covered and was so excited to get to work with her and Matt again. They are both quiet but very laid back. I love that there is a playful yet sensitive touch to their interactions with each other. We couldn't have been anymore fortunate with the weather, we ended up with mid 60's and sunny!

This picture reminds me of stopping on the side of the mountain for a picnic, very laid back and very down to earth..not to mention that they both have gorgeous blue eyes!

I hope yall have enjoyed the sneak peaks, congrats again on your new house..here's to making lots of new memories there!!

Gracie turns 1!!

Gracie is such a spunky little one and she holds a very special place in my heart! Her Mom and I have been friends since high school and her daughters are very much like nieces to me so I was super excited to be able to capture Gracie's birthday pictures..I absolutely love the colors that Mom chose for her outfit, they really made her eyes pop and show how blue they were. Before the party we snuck upstairs for some one on one time and Miss Gracie was in a super happy mood and was lovin the camera! Hope yall enjoy :)

Look at those blue eyes! Such a little doll :)

I have come to realize I REALLY like shots that are images of the moment..Mom was taking a quick break to catch a cute cellphone pic and I couldn't help but capture her doing it!

Gracie was a smart one, she used the cake decorator to scoop the icing on to it and into her mouth, what a genius idea of keeping from getting too messy! Another fav was of Miss Gracie and her Great Grandmother, she feeds her cake..that one is too sweet for Mom to see before she gets her CD!! I hope yall have enjoyed..I look foward to watching this sweet girl grow into a beautiful young lady over the years, and of course being there to capture those memories :)

Caroline turns 1!!

I have had the chance to work with Miss Caroline before and I was amazed at how well behaved she is to be so small, so naturally I was very excited when Mom asked if I could cover her birthday party! She is a little reserved and is very dainty, I loved seeing her with all of her little friends! When I cover the party it gives the parents time to relax and enjoy the day with their little ones as well! Caroline's party had a cute ladybug theme and Mom made sure that theme was throughout, I love the idea of the red and black twizzlers to pull that in!

She could not wait to get in to her presents but by this look I think Mommy may have found her and caught her off guard!

This was just the most precious thing ever, Caroline and her little friend played together through most of the party and chased each other around the room which filled with laughter. I thought it was so sweet when she came over to her with her cake and obviously Caroline was happy to see her too!

Only one thought comes to mind..THIS MUST BE GOOD CAKE!!

I hope yall have enjoyed the sneak peaks, I look forward to seeing Caroline grow in the years ahead and watching her personality continue to form..While the stage of infancy only lasts 1 year the memories from that year are what holds us together as a Mom on our hardest days, what will bring a tear to our eyes when they say those precious words "I do", and what will give us the strength to always be strong for them..Happy Birthday Sweet Caroline!

Comer Family

The Comer family is such a sweet one..Nick was a typical boy and was very interested in doing what he wanted and we were happy to just go with that..I could not be more happier with the pictures I was able to get of that sweet little grin of his :) His parents have got to be some of the sweetest I have ever seen, they both have a laid back demeanor and were extremely sweet and caring in their interactions with one another..very southern but definitely not the kind of love and kindness you see everyday. They were a delight to work with and I hope that they enjoy the sneak peaks!!

Hope yall have enjoyed the sneak peaks :)

Kellee and Brandon

Kellee is a former client from earlier this year and I was so excited to get the chance to work with her again! She is such a sweet girl and absolutely gorgeous! Brandon is a really nice gentleman as well..I am super excited to share these and yes there is quite a few because honestly I couldn't choose just one or two favorites!!
This was a new concept for pictures that I finally mastered as you may have seen in a previous blog..I love the way this turned out, Kellee's skin is just glistening and Brandon looks emersed in her smile!

Drop everything now..Meet me in the pouring rain..Kiss me on the sidewalk..yeah this is totally one of those moments :)

I hope you have enjoyed these sneak peaks..thank you for being such a sweet couple to work with!
